DONATED: 1,500 BOOKS
"WOW! THAT'S A TON OF BOOKS!"
"WE GET TO KEEP THEM?"
Books scattered and piled all over 4 large lunch tables according to grade level. An overflow of books were on the seats and counters!
Extra books, puzzles and games were donated to teachers and school
"THANK YOU! THANK YOU!"
"I CAN'T WAIT TO START READING MY BOOK!"
The students were shocked when they entered the room and saw the amount of books!

ALREADY READING THEIR OWN BOOKS!!
It was very surprising to hear so many of the students tell me they didn't have ANY books at home of their own. To read about it is one thing, but to actually hear it from a child is heartbreaking.
"CAN WE TRADE THEM WITH OUR FRIENDS AFTER WE READ THEM?"
"WE REALLY GET 2 BOOKS?"
